I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
 
I wanted a new Apple Watch strap for my Apple Watch series 2. I was at Heathrow, and they wanted £50 for a silicon strap. I couldn’t do it.
 
Further research actually suggested I was getting off quite lightly at £50, with straps varying in price and costing up to £500!
 
So, what we decided to do was the following.
 
Find the best Apple Watch Strap manufacturer we could, and design 2 “bundle packs” that would cover 95% of people’s usage case scenarios, and ensure our models would fit every Apple Watch.
 
These were determined as;
 
Sporty – whether used for sport, adventure, cleaning or the daily grind, a silicone strap seemed like a great choice, and makes a welcome change from the standard strap.
Party – often we found ourselves changing out of the Apple Watch because it didn’t look smart enough for a night out. Researching options led us to a look at the “Milanese Loop” style straps. They have numerous advantages.

And that’s how this product was born – except the value proposition had to be perfect also!
