Buds+
Troubleshooting
The Buds+ are a a set of totally wireless high quality earbuds which offer great quality and lots of functionality. If you're having issues with them please check out some of the common issues and solutions below:
Buds Not Charging:
Please check the blue transit tabs have been removed from the base of each bud stem. These are designed to stop the buds discharging in transit and if you take these off, then pop the buds back in the case for 20 minutes or so, then they will charge from the case.
Please try another USB Type C cable and if this solves the issue, please contact us.
Buds not Pairing:
Take the buds out of their case and leave for 10 seconds to allow them to pair together.
If the Buds have previously been paired with another device, then ensure the other device has its Bluetooth off - the buds will always try to pair with the last device used.
Touch Controls not working:
Note that the touch control on the Buds+ is located on the stem of the bud, look for the flattened area - this is the touch sensor.
For multiple press options (skip track, etc) try differing the speed of press as there is a specific speed needed to let the buds register a multi-press (think double clicking a mouse)
Low Volume:
If the Buds have been in use for some time, the gauze filter in them can become clogged with salts from perspiration. It's good practise to clean them every few months if used regularly.
To do this, moisten a corner of a tissue with some alcohol (nail varnish remover is ideal), remove the silicone eartips and wick into the silver gauze on the bud. Use the dry portion of the tissue to wick that out and it will clear the pores in the filter material and bring your audio back to full performance.
